Atelier Woodworks is a wood art studio nestled in the heart of the Southern Alps in Wānaka, New Zealand. Specialising in unique geometric wood mosaics and furniture, each piece is carefully handcrafted with a commitment to using locally sourced and reclaimed timber.
Shortly after relocating to the South island, the artist felt compelled to redefine their identity and desired perception. Being a french native, she sought a name that would embody the essence of craftsmanship and artistry that they infuse into every piece.
Atelier [french noun]: a workshop or studio, especially one used by an artist or designer.
The Atelier logo exudes simplicity and minimalism while being meticulously crafted. The ‘A’ is unveiled through recognisable shapes, mirroring the core elements of her mosaic creations.
The tagline “conscious woodworks” evokes her commitment to sustainability as a business, as she prioritise reclaiming materials and conscientiously navigating every step of the process. From the design stage to the finishing touches, she wants to ensure that her creations are not only beautiful but also responsible and kind to the planet.
