After spending over 15 years abroad, I have recently returned to my hometown, Laval, nestled in the northwest of France. It’s a beautiful medieval town that remains relatively undiscovered on the map.

Through these illustrations, I wanted to capture the essence of the city where I was born and raised, and give a nod to the locals who, I’m sure, will recognise familiar landmarks and perhaps a few clichés…
